International Insurance Plans by IMG

Flexible Spending Account
The North American Division (NAD) provides pre-tax benefits through a Section 125 Cafeteria Plan program. The term Section 125 refers to a section of the Internal Revenue Code. Section 125 programs allow employees to save taxes on money they pay toward their group sponsored health plans.

Employees can save on their payroll deductions as the premium is withheld from their pre-tax dollars. Employers can save on reduced payroll taxes for their employees.

All regular full time denominational employees are eligible to set aside pre-tax dollars, through payroll deductions, to spend on FSA's (un-reimbursed medical, dependant care), Premium Only Plans and other AFLAC products.

FSA’s allow an employee to use pre-tax dollars to pay medical co-pays not covered by insurance, as well as dependent care expense.
Premium Only Plan
The Premium Only Plan allows for your contribution to the health plan to be made with pre-tax dollars.

AFLAC
All AFLAC supplemental coverage, except for disability coverage can be purchased pre-taxed for an additional tax savings.



Short-term Medical
This coverage is available to Seventh-day Adventist employees and their dependents.

Short-term Medical is a temporary health insurance plan (30–185 days; selected states up to 365 days) designed for people who are between permanent health plans. For just a few dollars a day, Short-term Medical can give you the protection you need and the peace of mind you deserve.

You may apply for Short-term Medical if you are:
  • Between jobs.
  • Waiting for employer group coverage.
  • A recent college graduate.
  • A temporary or seasonal employee.
  • A dependent no longer eligible for coverage under your parent's plan.
  • A laid-off, striking or terminated employee.

Individual Health Insurance
The Individual Health Insurance portfolio offers personal insurance plans for individuals and families. It’s available to Seventh-day Adventist employees and their dependents, who are no longer eligible for group coverage by their employer, due to the following reasons:
  • Resignation
  • Termination
  • Seeking other employment
  • Dependent no longer eligible for coverage under parents plan.
This portfolio provides variety of health plans, premium savings, and includes innovative plan designs with benefits for every need and budged.

  Max Plan– the most extensive coverage and the most choice. It gives the security of up to $8 million in lifetime benefits – one of
    the highest benefit amounts in the industry.

  CoreMed Plan – broad coverage at the best value. It’s the most cost-effective plan for both everyday and catastrophic needs.

  RightStart Plan – peace-of-mind health insurance at the most affordable price – targeted at the uninsured population. Essential
    benefits for as little as half price of other popular plans.

  OneDeductible HSA Plan – provides extensive coverage while offering the simplicity and convenience of a single, common
    deductible for all members of the family. The OneDeductible Plan is a Health Savings Account (HSA) compatible insurance plan
    that can be combines with tax-favored HSA (insurance plan also available without HSA).


SaveRight HSA Plan – a more economical qualified high deductible health insurance plan that allows to fund HAS with premium savings.
