The Captive Underwriting Department provides insurance underwriting for the church’s captive, Gencon Insurance Company of Vermont (GICV). It classifies, evaluates, and rates the exposures of the Seventh-day Adventist Church worldwide. The Captive Underwriting department underwrites Property, Marine, Hospital Professional, General Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Commercial Auto, and Garage policies.

Captive Underwriting also negotiates appropriate reinsurance treaties on behalf of GICV in order to maximize the financial viability of the captive on behalf of the church. To find more information on our services go to PRODUCTS.
