The Risk Placement team consists of licensed agents, brokers, and technical assistants working as insurance brokers, placing insurance for the benefit of church organizations. Risk Placement works through the nonprofit insurance agency, Gencon Insurance Services (GISI), Inc., established in 1958. Risk Placement also helps employers provide benefit products and educates employees about those products to enable them to effectively manage the personal risks of everyday life. Risk Placement is constantly looking for ways to improve the current benefit packages in order to provide families with the best possible tools with which to plan their future. Program offerings include a wide range of products such as accident, life, health, disability, long-term care, tax deferred (Section 125) benefits, and tax-deferred annuity plans.

GISI provides an alternative to GICV through direct access to commercial insurance companies for the placement of property and casualty insurance programs as well as a specialized coverage such as workers compensation, aircraft liability, and directors and officers liability.
