General Liability
This insurance pays the sums that the Insured becomes legally obligated to pay, or that the insurance company has agreed to pay, for damages to others as a result of the Insured’s negligence. This policy may cover bodily injury to another individual or damage to property belonging to others.
A very common example of this coverage is the person who falls down the steps at church and incurs medical bills. This policy also provides protection for the policyholder when someone alleges negligence.
