The Health Insurance Marketplace, sometimes referred to as the health insurance “exchange” offered through the Federal Government as part of the Affordable Care Act, offers insurance plans for individuals and families who are no longer eligible for group coverage by their employer due to the following reasons:
 
*Resignation
*Termination
*Dependent is no longer eligible for coverage under the parent’s plan
 
If you don’t have coverage through a job, Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), or another source, the Marketplace helps you find and enroll in a plan that fits your budget and meets your needs.  You can apply online, by phone, or with a paper application.  To apply online, click on the link below for more information and instructions.
