As you plan for the 2020 General Conference Session in Indianapolis, it is important to budget for the cost of travel insurance. Official delegates, special guests, and their spouses will have this insurance coordinated for them by the General Conference (GC) and their host Division. All other dependents, guests, visitors, staff, and exhibitors will need to buy their own insurance by logging in on this page and following the steps to purchase.
For official delegates, special guests, and their spouses traveling to session, the GC will be working with your sponsoring Division on coordinating the purchase of this insurance. The GC will be providing a template to each Division requesting they provide, among other items, the name of each delegate, special guest, and spouse. The GC will then purchase the insurance for these individuals in bulk. The GC will bill the Divisions the actual cost for their delegates, special guests, and their spouses, except for delegates that are members of the GC Executive Committee.
Coverage includes the actual days of the Session and can be selected from June 1 to August 11 with a maximum of 30 days total. If you plan to travel beyond 30 days within the date range of June 1–August 11, the additional days will be covered under the Short-Term Travel Policy and will incur a premium of $2.08 per day. If you need travel insurance outside of the date range, please consider purchasing a separate Short-Term Travel insurance for those dates.
