ARM Releases Risk Training Center Course for Youth Club Ministries

March 31, 2025

Silver Spring, Maryland, March 31, 2025 — Adventist Risk Management®, Inc. (ARM) has debuted a new risk management course exclusively for youth club ministry leaders and associates. It is available through ARM’s Risk Training Center, RiskTrainingCenter.org.

The course covers essential topics such as enhancing cybersecurity measures, travel safety, crisis communication protocols, robust child protection practices, ensuring safe supervision of children in your care, and more.

According to Brian Schwab, ARM Risk Control Specialist, “Our new risk training course for youth club ministries is important for everyone working in these ministries. Whether you are a seasoned youth leader or a newcomer, and regardless of your safety experience, taking this course will help protect people and property. It is a foundational piece of building a culture of safety in our Seventh-day Adventist youth and club ministries, safeguarding our most valuable resource: our people.”

ARM’s Risk Training Center (RTC) is a free resource open to Adventist ministry leaders and church members. Courses take minutes to complete and provide a strong foundational framework for the proper safety administration of various ministries. As ARM has seen how ministries can suffer from preventable incidents, the RTC is an excellent tool that equips leaders to ensure their programs and people are well protected for the long run.
