We provide timely, real-world insurance products and innovative risk management solutions for minimizing risk within Adventist ministries at all levels. James Winegardner

James Winegardner

President | Chief Executive Officer
Winegardner is an ordained minister and has served as a pastor in the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists for more than 15 years. Most recently, he served as the senior pastor of the Keene Adventist Church. Winegardner is also an attorney with 25 years of experience as a trial lawyer on professional liability claims and personal injury cases for Adventist Health System, Farmers Insurance, and in private practice. He returns to ARM after previously serving as claims director from 2002 – 2004.
 
Winegardner earned a B.A in religion from Southwestern Adventist College (now Southwestern Adventist University) in Keene, Texas, and his J.D. from the Southern Methodist University Law School (now Dedman School of Law) in Dallas, Texas. He is licensed to practice law in Texas, and was board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization from 1997 – 2012.

Andrea Ashman is the Vice President, Chief Human Resource Officer for Adventist Risk Management, Inc. (ARM). Ashman provides leadership in the area of human resources for ARM’s 127 employees, based in four offices around the world. Ashman is specifically responsible for strategic human resource planning, talent acquisition, employee professional growth, best human resources practices, and continuing ARM’s focus on a positive work environment.

Ashman began her service at ARM in 2008. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Technology in Jamaica and a master's degree in human resources from Capella University. Ashman is also a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Vice President | Chief Client Care Officer
David Fournier is the Vice President, Chief Client Care Officer for Adventist Risk Management Inc.  He is responsible for implementing the delivery of products and service programs for the Company. This role includes oversight for the customer service, risk control, communication and education programs of ARM. David joined ARM in 2004 and served in several roles focused on building risk management and insurance resources, communicating risk management concepts, and delivering insurance solutions for our clients and their ministries. David graduated with a master’s in business administration (MBA) from Southern Adventist University, he holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associates in Risk Management (ARM) designations, as well as Property and Casualty and Life and Health producer licenses.

Andrew Moll is the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Adventist Risk Management, Inc. (ARM) and GENCON Insurance Company of Vermont (GICV). He is a key point of contact on financial transactions with vendors, assists in planning, implementing, and monitoring ARM departmental budgets, as well as provides leadership of ARM’s Financial Services department.

Since joining ARM in 2013, Moll worked as Senior Accountant, Financial Analyst, Internal Auditor, Staff Accountant, and Corporate Treasurer. He is a graduate of Andrews University and holds several designations including CPA and CPCU.

Prior to being appointed as an officer, Kathleen served as a consultant for Adventist Risk Management, Inc., and was instrumental in the development of the Ascend to Wholeness healthcare plans. She has worked in the healthcare and benefits field for more than 35 years and has a specialty focus in benefits administration. Wilson has held various executive positions within a hospital system. Her degree is in Public Administration from California State University, Chico and she enjoys the continual learning opportunities within ARM.

ARM South America serves as the operating company for South America and provides risk management and insurance services for Seventh-day Adventist entities throughout South America. Unibrás Corretora de Seguros Ltda. as an insurance broker, provides insurance products to the church in South America.
